Take off Events was started in 2008 in Blue Hill, Maine to assist the growing number of weddings on the peninsula by myself, Courtney Weaver. I have been organizing corporate and community events since 1997, and it was in 1999 that I coordinated my first wedding in San Francisco. In 2002, I had my first child and moved to Maine. Now, my husband, our three kids and I live in an old farmhouse on Toddy Pond in Surry, Maine.
Take Off Events consists of myself and three women who assist in the setup, decorations, and logistics. I offer professional consultation and organization skills throughout your wedding planning. My services are individualized to meet the level of service that you desire with an hourly rate or with a day of wedding management package. I offer professional planning, organizational, consulting, and facilitating skills. I will help you create an incredible wedding while taking care of the coordination, so you are pampered and well taken care of on your wedding day. The biggest benefit to having a wedding planner is the stress relief, the professional advice, and time-saving tips.
